So, in my copious spare time (read: to prevent panic) I am working on a couple of fanmix, and in the process I've discovered all sorts of interesting music.
The coolest is probably the string quartet cover of the Dr. Who theme. :D
I've also just found a folder on my computer entitled "Jinx" which contains an album by an Icelandic rap group, and nested inside *that* folder, a mix called "It Takes Two", which has no cover art or notes or anything with it, and inside *that*, a folder called "b-side lovers". I apparently downloaded these in February, but I have *no idea* why, or where they came from. I suppose I could search the journals of everybody on all my flists from about that time, but knowing me, I downloaded it off the fflist of somebody I share a community with and have no hope of ever figuring out where. (It would help if I at least knew the fandom! Love songs: not distinctive on a fanmix, just so you know. I try to put at least one giveaway song on mine...)
Though that would be an interesting thing to try: post fanmixes *without* saying what they're for, and see if people can figure it out...

Watching Who and petting cats sounds like good plan for non-outside-parts of day. Mom is noncomittal about everything as usual.

Turning your mortal enemy into a wizened gnome and keeping him in a cage is still not sexy, sorry. d-: I'm still in must-absorb-canon mode and not really shipping anyone - I'm waiting to see if the writers can get me to *buy* Doctor/Rose, which they haven't yet.
Unless that happens, this will probably be another don't-care-about-ships fandom for me much like Harry Potter.
.. I could still make you guys watch Ark of Truth!

...Or The Librarian!

The aging makeup is - well, not too bad for aging makeup really, but when he ages him the *second* time around, it is - well, I can't image that it's *not* CGI, and he actually is an adorable little puppy-dog-eyed gnome (who still manages to look kinda like David Tennant (it's the eyes)) (like I mentioned? When 900 years old you reach? Look as cute you will not). :D You might at least need to watch that episode, for the gnome-ness and the Scissor Sisters scene (which is some AWESOME cinematography/choreography for the Master).
I know Mom saw the second Librarian movie! I watched part of it with her! So you'll have to take it up with her if you want that. (Or INDY! Only a couple weeks till NEW MOVIE!)
