Halfway though my 100 days project! After only 61 days, and with only 72/100 fandoms left! That's some good math there.
(Honestly that's not as many as it feels like - I've been cheating with the random number generator and skipping ones that don't spark joy, so they've ended up backloaded. I went down the list and there are only about 36 left that I'm deeply confident I'll get a easonable recs set out of with only a day's prep? So we'll see if I make it to 100 before I run out of steam. 50 is honestly farther than I thought I'd get! Or who knows, maybe the fandoms list will just keep getting longer.)
Anyway, in honor of hitting halfway yesterday, I'm going to take the weekend off from recs again. Maybe even post some other stuff, who knows!
Meanwhile, what songs would you put on your ultimate enemyship playlist? Genghis Khan, obviously, and I Can't Decide, and Skullcrusher Mountain, and Tea and Corpses. (Possibly my music collection is slanted too far toward novelty tracks....?) I've been messing around with a fanmix on Spotify but I know there's a ton of obvious choices I'm missing.
But you'd have to be careful to make sure it doesn't get overwhelmed with "we have a terribly dysfunctional relationship", "We broke up and I'm not over it," and "I'm a horrible person generally" songs - all of which at least somewhat fit the theme but are so much more common than all the other options for enemyship that they would drown out the really fun ones. Hmm.

Poison and Wine by the Civil Wars. Oh, and What Is This Feeling from Wicked, for another fun one. I Hate Everything About You by Three Days Grace. Arguably No Children from the Mountain Goats, lol (a song about messy divorce).

Then of course there's various songs from musicals, though that might be cheating. "The Riddle" from The Scarlet Pimpernel, "Playing His Game" from Death Note the Musical, and I'm sure there are more!

Also, "Angry Johnny" by Poe.

I've always been shocked that there's no enemyship vids to Nemeses, which is basically the theme song to beloved enemy trope.

Ludo has Love Me Dead and The Horror of Our Love.
Maybe True Friends by Bring Me The Horizon too, if it's a friends-to-enemies-to-lovers ship.
Edit:
Tom Lehrer's The Masochism Tango
Look What You Made Me Do by Taylor Swift
Why do I still feel like I'm forgetting something obvious?!

"Obsessions," Marina and the Diamonds
"Blow Your Mind," Dua Lipa

and while I'm here, I also submit the playlist on the same theme that a friend made for me
