(no subject)

So I am currently at [livejournal.com profile] stellar_dust's apartment, where I will be flat-sitting with her spoilt cat until probably Tuesday morning, when she gets back from Texas.

Things I would like to get done while on my four-day vacation into Grown-Up Land:

1.) Go to the massive Loudoun County Used Book Sale, this weekend only.
2.) Go on a day hike along the C&O canal trail, just to test conditions (and conditioning), while Mom isn't here to be a wet blanket.
3.) Vid something.
4.) Update the X-Files [livejournal.com profile] newbieguide.
5.) Write fic. Get ahead on schoolwork. Apply for internship. Fix lj layout. Finish sewing project. Update fic archives.
6.) --? I know there was something else, but I can't for the life of me remember what. Oh well, I'm sure it'll come to me.

I might get three of those done if I'm lucky ...

In re: #3: For this weekend only, I am taking fanvid requests. Some of you must have ideas you've been wanting to see for months; I know I did, until the con.txt vid show blew them all away. Sister's collection has - SG-1, SGA, BSG, Boston Legal, Buffy, Angel, X-files, The Librarian: Quest For The Spear, Harry Potter 1-3, Star Wars 4-6 and Clone Wars; umm... Indiana Jones, The Princess Bride, possibly some other stuff... If somebody on my flist doesn't give me a better idea by Sunday, I'll probably end up doing Mulder/Krycek "Hit Me Baby One More Time". Just so you have incentive.

Now that I thought about it (a lot on the way to work), Hot Stuff would make an amazing meta-vid, like fangirl/SciFiFriday, which would be even more labor-intensive and not really weekend work. So.

SOS . . . okay, half the time I think it's Rodney/John, and half the time I think it's Rodney/Hallucination!Sam. Possibly both? It's a clubbish song, with a lot of chorus repetition, so it'd be quite easy to cut down if needed; you can stream it here (http://www6.defjam.com/site/artist_av.php?artist_id=586). I should just buy the thing already.

Indy could rock to the tune of School's Out or Welcome to the Jungle, or possibly Girls Just Want to Have Fun, in a The Women of . . . sort of way.

What happened to So Typically Twink, I Think? Not digital?

Dude! Rainbow Brite! What happened to it is that I totally forgot it existed. Dude.

(They are digital - the whole soundtrack is downloadable at Rainbow Land (http://www.rainbowbrite.net/multimedia.html).
