So I guess my sister and I will be in Washington DC for inauguration day Tuesday. (It is not the wise thing to do, no. But the main thing I regret is always choosing the wise thing to do, so we're going to go fly for once.)
Anybody know any fun places to visit in DC that aren't within the blast radius of the National Mall and might be open? We may wander toward the Aquatic Gardens or the National Zoo, but tiny obscure museums in the rest of the city would be a) fun and b) out of the weather.
I wonder if the Folger Shakespeare Library will be open... Renaissance Journalism sounds really cool.
