. . . And I give in and do the songs thing.
10 questions: Pick a band and answer only using that band's song titles.
(okay, so some of these are a stretch)
1. Are you male or female?: She's My Girl
2. Describe yourself: Whatever became of Hubert?
3. How do some people feel about you?: There's a Delta for Every Epsilon
4. How do you feel about yourself?: Thanksgiving
5. Describe your love interest: Smut! ("I've got a hobby-- rereading Lady Chatterley!")
6. Where would you rather be?: Poisoning Pigeons in the Park
7. Describe what you want to be: The Professor's Song
8. Describe how you live: Bright College Days
9. Describe how you love: We Will All Go Together When We Go
10. Share a few words of wisdom: Be Prepared
And while we're on the subject: for some reason, I've really been wanting to get some new music. To try everything from Fairport Convention to Public Enemy (Which actually aren't that different, both being, essentially, folk music, if you think about it). A year ago I'd have gotten on a filesharing program and gone on a downloading frenzy. Now . . well, I can get some off the Web. (Note 'current music', which my roommate is probably very sick of.) Perhaps rig up a way to rip LP's to mp3's over summer break, and hit the used records at Goodwill . .

I tried Limeware but decided that, on balance, it was not worth the trouble of attempting to get it working.
I have yet to install *anything* on this computer that didn't give me crap about dependencies. *grumble* Besides, I do find filesharing slightly morally ambiguous.

Try finding this song, then the band's other stuff.
(Anonymous) 2003-05-09 02:08 am (UTC)(link)Blind Guardian does a little bit of Hobbit-related "rock", so it might be something to look into...
If you do indeed exist, that is. ;D

Re: Try finding this song, then the band's other stuff.
'Tisn't bad, I guess. But I think I like the rap better. :p

(Anonymous) 2003-05-10 03:43 am (UTC)(link)Though My favorite is "The Curse of Faenor(sp?)". I dunno, I just like the fact that it's a bit more metal than the others.
PS: All three songs are awesome!
