A threefold cord is not quickly broken

When I'm feeling creative but not productive, that's when I attempt to draw. Not just draw, but draw fanart for stories that haven't been written yet. I'm actually sorta proud of this one, even if it *is* only rough pencils at the moment, and far too anime-ish, and Harry Potter based at that. I think I actually drew something resembling what I saw in my head, for once.

This was inspired by [livejournal.com profile] pottersandwich and Ecclesiastes 4:12, so 'tis possible you'll burn in hell merely for looking at it.

Now, once I've figured out how to fix Hr's chest, and R's arm, and how to draw hands fondling blatant phallic symbols, I want to ink this. Can't decide how, though. Try to computer ink with my horrible mouse? Pull out old roller-ball pens? Attempt brush and india ink again? hmm.

I'd been wondering if you were still doing drawings, what with all the fanfic and all.

I go through cycles of drawing; I seem to be on the upswing at the moment.

Fanfic is not actually eating up any of my time; it's using the time I used to spend on original fiction. It's just that people actually know what I'm talking about when I ship Neville/Snape; were I to go on about Ada/Rupert nobody'd have a clue. :)

How can you possibly leave off Harry's glasses?!? And I'm definitely curious about the Padawan braids ...

Very spiffy, though. (:

Um, I sorta mentioned it's for a story not yet written? yah. My writer's house advisor said I don't torture my characters enough, so I decided to start a hp fic that I could keep as dark as possible. Thus they're meant to be rather, umm, battle-scarred? By this point Harry's glasses are long-lost.

They aren't padawan braids! Gah. I didn't notice till afterward that it was similar. People did wear their hair like that before, y'know. That kid in lit mag had one years before the movie. Maybe once I color it the significance will be clearer.

Heh-heh. "Harry-Ron Hermone" = "Obi-Wan Kenobi" ... well, kind of.
