I'll have to look through my collection of human heads.
Aggh. Just realized I double-posted previous entry.
morrigain, and everybody else, much thanks for the comments. I really need to get drivel working. blerg.
Real-life update? Sure. Friday night, went to birthday dinner for --C with sister,
speakerender, and various others. They actually talked about something other than Achaea for part of the time, so 'twas some fun. Happy-late-birthday!
After dinner, we all went back to sister's apartment to watch her CoS DVD. Much funness. Although am regretting their knowfulness of my HP activities now. On the other hand, enjoyed squeeing about the Lucius/Arthur UST which is *so* obvious on second viewing. Besides, one of them writes really odd Lois&Clark fic, so I'm not the only one. It was the first time I'd played with extra DVD features, that was good. Although I got no H/D vibes from the B&B deleted scene. The deleted scenes were all *so* Harry/Hedwig. Really.
--C also loaned me a working keyboard. Yay! Thankyou thankyou!
Saturday was a historical geology field trip. We took I-70 and I-68 out to Sideling Hill in the mountains, stopping at all the interesting outcrops and roadcuts along the way. I have been itching to climb up on those roadcuts since I was about four, so this was something of a dream come true. And since there were actual geologists along, I learned stuff too. Had Cherikee Red pop from a gas station with lunch, which I had never even heard of before, but it was interestingly good. We also stopped at the quarry at Sandy Mile, a beautiful, intriguing place apparently known only to deer hunters and geologists. Learned about taphonomy and paleoecology. In other words, avoided rotting deer carcasses while climbing talus slope in search of Devonian fossils. Found some, too, including a big chunk of tab coral.
Afterwards, I wandered around Maryland Day for a few minutes, and got to see sister'sshameignominy, which is a very fetching shade of blue. Then wrote for a few hours, and then slept till two thisafternoon.

And besides, I had a much more creative conversation with Katy at dinner, but I tell you I never promised to do anything, just made suggestions!

I agree in the deleted scenes. It was all Hedwig/Harry.
