noble little bastions of democracy
So today I was doing research in a university library book for something I'm writing, and I realize I've just read a paragraph explaining that "it is good for a man to sexually penetrate his sick son and gain pleasure from it," and think of nothing but the sociological parallels. When did that happen?? Probably much longer ago then I'd like to believe.
Ah, the joys of ancient greek oneiromancy.
(Not to mention tyromancy, one of the few types of divination I'd never heard of. Tell the future in your cheese!)
Also, I wish to state categorically that the previous entry was *not* due to the fact that I totally forgot about daylight savings time. Not in the least. Nope.
Switching between times really is a fundamentally stupid idea anyway; we'd ought to stay on DST all year. Or better yet, stay inside all the time and go polyphasic. yay!
In other news, someone needs to shoot me before I start yet *another* hp fanfic, in which Draco mopes over his father's murder in iambic pentameter while Ginny goes mad, Ron tries to kill him, and Harry is off saving the world (plot courtesy of Shakespeare).

And are you saying Draco's dad gets killed in the stories? Keep these bits of info up, I won't have to read the books! *smile*
