There's a few where all three of them are on the road together, and some more where Sam dies or disappears, but I want one with Jess and Dean on the road together, and Sam safe back at college! Goldarnit! :D (Or maybe one where *Dean* dies, and Sam and Jess end up hunting together - that could be *fascinating* - or one where Sam and Dean disappear between picking up the diary and getting back to Stanford, and Jess and *John* end up on the road after he comes looking, or ... But I'm not writing those, because I see SPN through Dean's POV.)

I've seen a few Mary the Hunter fics, but they often end up with some of the same gender-politics problems as the show, just inverted - ones where Mary becomes a witch instead of a Hunter, or something, because of course she can't be as kickass as John. Monkeycrackmary did some awesome stuff with Mary, but she's locked all her fic on lj and hasn't crossposted yet.
