The best part of the Ever Forward being stuck is getting to find out which news sources know it's the Chesapeake Bay, not just Chesapeake Bay.

(Of course, now I am stuck on whether it's Ever Forward or the Ever Forward.)

Split the differnce and call it Ever The Forward.

A lot of places seem to split the difference by calling it "the vessel Ever Forward", but that just gets "The Schooner I'm Alone" stuck in my head.

I mean, I would have agreed with you, but then I said it too many times and it stopped having meaning.

It's definitely The USS Enterprise NCC-1701, except I thought about it, and sometimes it isn't :/ And I've definitely seen Titanic without the the too. "Titanic sank under the waves that day" doesn't sound completely wrong?

I follow languagelog_feed and sometimes one of the linguists there does a thing where they listen to an English conversation and time how long it takes until they find something language-y that nobody understands. (The average is about 20 seconds.)
