I mean, I also subscribe to "you shouldn't post anything on the internet if you don't want it on the front page of the NYT" (although tbh the front page of the NYT is harder to see stuff on than wayback...)

But, you know, I think of that as defending yourself against a bad actor, whereas this is figuring out how not to *be* a bad actor! Two different things.

The annoying thing about Fanlore is even if you take it off Wayback and Webcite and someone goes in and edits the entry to remove the reposts, it keeps a public changelog so it'll still be there unless you get Fanlore admin to remove it, and it's not easy to get Fanlore admin to remove it.
