One thing I've found in my many years of blogging is that if I get heavily involved in a discussion elsewhere, it's like I have used up my allotted words for the day and I really don't want to post here. I should get in a better habit of treating that as a reason to link the other post here, if it's somewhere linkable, instead of a reason not to post here at all.
So, today was a discussion about modding Dreamwidth comms on
fictional_fans. I left a long comment with many opinions. If you, too, have opinions on comm modding you should head over there and explain why I'm wrong.
(There's also a related discussion about the feasibility of starting a dreamwidth comm to have all the conversations about modding dreamwidth comms in, and I really want it to happen now, but I think that's mostly because I'm very impressed at myself for coming up with the idea of naming a comm for all the mod conversations
