Good Omens is the story of a demon who didn't so much fall as saunter vaguely downward, and an angel who was just enough of a bastard to be worth liking, and how they fell in love and attempted to save the world and realized that they could just pick a third side to both be on.

I think there was a TV show or something recently? (Just kidding, I did actually watch the show for this one.) So there's a lot of fanfic from the show. But I've been in this fandom since 1998 - I had a sleepover at shinyhappygoth's house, and read her copy of the book instead of sleeping (we had wild sleepovers, clearly). And the first online slash fic I ever read was Crowley/Aziraphale! And also there's too much show fic, I can't narrow it down, so have some classics of old bookfandom.

Thanks for these. Now I where to come to for Good Omens recs! I had read the book years ago but never looked for fanfic for it until the show.

What do you think about the plans for a second miniseries?

I am reserving judgement on the new series. The first series it was really obvious how it had become more Gaiman and less Pratchett; I'm sure the second one it will be much, much more so. And I definitely felt the increase in Gaiman-ness as a loss of things I loved about the original. Also, if it is based on the original sequel plans we've been speculating over since the 90s, it's likely going to focus on stuff I'm less interested in (new OC angels, the "Just William" parody.)

But I don't *not* like Gaiman's work, and John Finnemore is also great - he's not going to be Pratchett but a Finnemore-tinged GO could be very good in its own way. And they have definitely realized that the Just William stuff was never the point by now. So it could be excellent!

Oh, I have read a great deal of GO-TV fic! I just didn't know how on Earth to narrow *that* down into only three recs. :D (Not that I would say no to recs, especially if it's stuff that's come out in the past year that I probably haven't seen yet.)
