the cool thing about Murdoc is that he wasn't necessarily 'evil' (he wasn't a good guy, but he wasn't evil), he was just doing his job. granted, his job was 'assassin'. and his whole gig was he was angry that he couldn't complete his contract on MacGyver b/c Mac thwarted him every time. yes, Murdoc was trying to kill MacGyver, but, he liked the game, so he would never just walk up and pop the guy - he wanted Mac to know it was Murdoc and would set up these elaborate things just to watch Mac do his thing. (can ttly see where ppl would go with the whole slash-tastic-ness on that - Murdoc won't kill Mac b/c he <3's him)
