I voted MacArthur Park because out of all of those, that's the one I don't think it's possible to make an earnest video to. XD

if there's any fandom you could it's this one! See the cake is a metaphor and the singer is God and it's all very tragic and there's lots of cuts of Aziraphale eating.

I have no idea, but you could do "melting in the dark" to the point where Crowley kills Ligur and where Crowley is supposed to die via bathtub, it'd be great :D

I am totally in favor of visiting New Jersey just to do New Jersey sometime though! it's been ages since I've done any New Jersey north of Cape May.

I lingered overly long deciding what to pick for number of books to bring, and now I'm hilariously pleased that the one I picked is the current most popular one.

I am pleased that is steadily converging around the one I was leaning toward!

Okay but I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally want a GO MacArthur Park vid. I waaaaaaaant it.

" I don't know if I can take it cause it took so long to bake it" is so an Aziraphale #mood.

My firm policy for books and travel is that I need to make sure to have at least a book a day plus one for good measure. I realise that this will almost always be enormous overkill, but I still remember the time I went away for a three day weekend with only two books, assuming I could borrow from family members, but the only books they'd brought were ones I didn't want to read, and so I had to read a very bad book when I ran out of mine. So now I err on the side of caution because it's better to bring too many books than too few.

I would be a lot more careful if a) I didn't know for a fact my sister has an interesting library, b) she is walking distance from a source of cheap used books, and c) I didn't have about 50 emergency ebooks downloaded on my phone. :D

That does all make it much lower stakes! My packing life has certainly gotten easier since I got an e-reader, because then even if I get through all the new books I loaded onto it in preparation, I can reread any of the other books that are all still in there.

But how will we know about the kink fic if you do not link it.

it's about 50/50 being gross and about 50/50 no confidence in my porn writing skill so I need kinkmeme anonymity to give me the courage to suck at it. :D If I finish it and it's ok I'll probably drop enough hairpins that people who are into it can find it. But that's two big ifs rn.

I picked "ten" for "books", but I've been known to bring more books than that to the grocery store, just FYI. How long are you going to be there? I mean, is that a 5-day "week", your standard 7-day week, or a 9-day "week" with both weekends counted?
