to-do list blogging #2
I hope y'all are ready for some intense to-do list blogging for the next week, because that's what you're getting!
Today I got mostly through going through the craft supplies; what's left is:
1. Find remaining WIP projects (aren't in room with rest of stuff; probably in one of the other high-priority cleaning areas. Or the shed.)
2.Measure and repack the spare fabric
3.go through the drawers with random crafting tools.
4. pile of assorted Stuff found while cleaning
5. final touches.
Hopefully I can do most of that tomorrow, which is Bonus Time because technically I work tomorrow.
So anyway here's the to-do sublist generated from that:
1. simple mending tasks
2. stain removal mending
3. overdyeing mending
4. darning
5. remake the witch hat
6. make sunflower dress
7. make sunflower skirt
8. sew precut waistcoats
9. patchwork half-square triangle quilt
10. patchwork little quilt
11. make general organa vest
12. finish crochet hats
13. finish My First Sock
14. finish unravelling the mitten
15.finish cat scarf
16. candlemaking
17. swatch yarns for holiday gifts
18. recarve weaving shuttle
19. fix the rag rug
20. new projects: new cloak; knit jumper; knee breeches; shirt (match cloth and patterns if nothing else.)
21. doll clothes
I will not get all of those done! Although one good day in front of the sewing machine might knock out over half of them, if the sewing machine cooperates, which it will not.
I didn't make a list of all the ufos not planned for next week, but they include:
1. embroidery
2. linen shift
3. net bag
4. refinish the magic dagger
5. rag braids
6. spinning
7. knapping
8. sock quilt
9. big quilt
10. cathedral quilt
11. feedsack quilt
12. amigurumi
13. complex mending
14. bear puppet (this has been in my todo box for 24 years, and is currently the oldest thing in it, I think at this point he needs to stick around as a charm.)
15. tab weaving
16. overdress
17. tent
18. hammock
19. jewelry making
20. Monk cloth afgan
21. Icelandic sweater
22. Tunisian sweater
23. miniature museum

When you get around to the jewelry making, I'll cheerfully listen to any amount of geeking out about it.

Whew. You deserve a break & tasty beverage
Is "ufos" un-finished-objects?
Re: Whew. You deserve a break & tasty beverage
The jewelery making, if it happens, would be very vulture-culture-ish - I have a bunch of things of the category of "tiny glass jars" into which I can place bits of dried plants and dead animals and then attach them to jewelry fixings, as well as a collection of interesting rocks and fossils that I'd like to try wire wrapping/wire weaving to turn into pendants. But not this week!
