New AO3 filters!

I think the new AO3 filter functionality is still doing a slow roll-out, so you may or may not have it yet, but if you don't, you should soon.

I do, and they are SO GREAT. Negative tag filters! Much better rating/warnings options! Huge bookmark search improvements! I haven't had much of a chance to play with it yet, but the crossover filtering on its own has already improved my life dramatically (Today when I had a sudden hankering I could actually get all the Casablanca fic that was just about Casablanca without having to jump through hoops!)

So much kudos to everyone involved in this!

Negative tag filters! For any canonical tag! There is now a set of "exclude" filters down the side that work exactly like the "include" filters except the opposite, and they are THE BEST.

Especially the bit about being able to filter out crossovers. I like a good crossover, but I can't tell you how crowded the Original Works category is with originalfic/fanfic crossovers.

The crossover filtering really is the best thing. I can now tell you how many His Dark Materials fics actually exist on the archive! (233, down from 1092)

I...hadn't even looked at the bookmarks page until I saw this post, so now I'm going to go be starry-eyed about that for a bit. xD

It looks like the functionality is good. Unfortunately it also broke the skin I use so a bunch of stuff is jumbled up on top of itself.
