I have "post to dreamwidth" on my to-do list but weirdly (for me - y'all have met me) I couldn't think of anything I burningly wanted to say (at least, not without putting actual effort into meta.)
HabitRPG is still working for me as motivation/tracking (hence the to-do list checking off :P) I decided to buy all the Warrior gear before I switched character types, and I was almost there, and then they added a bunch of special summer stuff, so now I have to buy all the Warrior summer stuff in time to switch types before it's gone and get another set of stuff...
Anyway so I have been doing a fair amount of just quietly getting stuff done? Which is nice. Also the recent weather means I've been spending a lot of time outside, either doing stuff or in a hammock chair on the screenporch. I realize this sort of sentiment is what gets you burned as a witch in these parts, but the weather lately is making me really grateful that we don't have air conditioning. It makes me really aware of what the weather's doing, get me out in fresh air (or inside with all the windows open and fans going) and as long as the nights stay in the 70s, the house never quite gets uncomfortably hot (now that I have said that we will have a run of nights in 90s and I will hate myself, but oh well.) And when it does get that hot, excuse to spend the afternoon sleeping on a hammock chair in the porch in the shade! Always an acceptable choice. Plus, cold raspberries and vanilla ice cream and.
T'other night we had a FABULOUS thunderstorm and I spent it in the hammock chair and feeling thunder roll in my ribcage while my sister's cat kept watch beside me.
Anyway for posterity I enclose my current list of "habits" on Habit RPG. I am using this for things that will never get finished (like ToDo) but don't get done on a regular schedule (like Dailies) - I think a lot of them are less frequent than "habits" are intended to be, but oh well, it is working for me. I wish habitRPG had better tracking for how well I am doing on them, or if they have better stats tracking for them I knew how to use it.)
-get to work < 15 min early
-fail out of a todo task
-acquire new books
-start a new project
(These are the "bad" habits where I lose points if I do them. ..theoretically, the "new project" one has a "good" option but I have to work through a lot of unfinished backlog before I can trigger it w/out guilt.) the "fail out" one is there b'c habitRPG doesn't seem to have any consequences if you delete a todo without checking it and yeah, I need consequences for that one. The other two should be self-explanatory.

These are carried over from Camp NaNo which I did right before starting HabitRPG, so far they are working? Although I seem to have traded "write a little every day" for "write large amounts once in awhile" so my rate of finishing stuff isn't that much better.
+visit wranglechat

I am being way better than I was about keeping up with wrangling stuff, fingers crossed it stays.

So I have a backlog of LT Early Review books that need reviewed, and I'd like to review more on goodreads in general? Er. Haven't been doing that much better on these lately tbh.

I'm doing this most days and yet still not keeping my head above water. SOMEDAY. SOMEDAY/ ALL THE THINGS WILL BE TAGEED ANDIN FOLDER/ SOMEDAY.

Theoretically, I do these on my lunch hour. In practice I manage 3-4 times a week, not always on my lunch hour.

+Finish an er book
See above RE: ER books. I don't get points for reading only for finishing because. yeah. my "in progress" pile is still RIDIC, I haven't got it below 30 at any point yet this year.
+get sister's mail
Theoretically I do this on my way home from work, practically I forget and then Mom does it the next day.

This was "practice piano" but I got stuck on a very hard song in my teach-yourself book so now I am working on harmonica instead. :P

Which only stays for a couple months but is pretty intense for those two months, protip:don't get a mosquito bite on the palm of you hand.

These happen when it is light outside, the weather is tolerable, and I have the energy.So. you know. So far nothing is dead, not even the gourd plant? Having a rain barrel to fill watering cans from instead of having to mess with the hose is making it a lot less of a slog, gotta say. And I'm getting pretty good with knives!
+clean br
+empty dishwasher
Theoretically, these are some of my house chores. In practice, Mom decides when to run the dishwasher, which usually means I am not around when it is time to empty it and she is to antsy to wait. ..the bathroom gets a minor clean about once a week and a major clean about once a month to get rid of the bloodstains and a proper scrubdown basically never.
+finish a project-in-progress
ad-hoc motivation for when I finish something that isn't on todos but had still been hanging over me. Usually arts & crafts. (books don't count, they have their own spot.)

I need to log in to my bank periodically because I think at this point the tellers recognize me when I come in to ask what my password is? And I want to be more systematic about giving but er. haven't really been.

...wouldn't it be nice if we all had free time. (Someday I will catch up on Steven Universe! Someday!
..that is a lot of stuff. And it's basically everything I do in my free time that isn't "hang out in chat and reload social media", which probably explains why I am leveling up so fast. But. you know. There is a serious risk of me spending ALL my free time hanging out in chat reloading social media. So ATM this works.
(Also I have ~11 dailies but they are mostly really tiny things like "brush hair" and "check nonfandom email" that I will otherwise make excuses to not do. And I have 31 todos, nine of which have sublists and all but 8 of which are in the dark-red danger zone.)

Added to that, going from upper-90s-humid to lower-60s-dry and back again repeatedly has always given me headaches, so that's adding injury to insult. :/
Luckily my workplace seems to stay over 70 most of the summer (at least in pockets) so it's not to bad. But I dream of one day controlling the thermostat in a large public building and setting it to 80 all summer. >:P (It can be in the mid-60s in the winter, don't worry, people who run hot, I'll take one for you if you take one for me.)
