I actually didn't watch any of it when I was young, but I started watching it on youtube a few years back, and I must have read the original book of The Great Escape about ten times as a teenager (which was only slightly less ridiculous.) The logistics of wolfbrothers in a theoretically-abiding-by-the-rules-of-war WWII POW camp get really interesting really fast. Even if you don't factor in secretly running a resistance network.
