Not titling this with song lyrics; you're welcome.

According to my ~highly scientific~ poll in my last post, approx. 30-40% of all Dreamwidth users have had songs from Les Miserables stuck in their heads ever since the movie came out.

I don't suppose those of you who are getting more active in the fandom would consider, as a kindness, "earworm warnings" for any quotes from the lyrics (including song titles)?

//just kidding

//mostly

//although it would be nice to be able to go more than 24 hours without hearing the people sing in the background of all I do. I've kind of forgotten what that's like.

Although I have gotten quite a lot of cleaning done while unable to concentrate on anything but listening to the soundtrack on repeat, so there's that.

(I tried putting on "Once More With Feeling" instead today; it only took about half an hour before One More Day was back.

I haven't tried Cabaret yet; that's the nuclear option.)

ETA: Warning: lyrics in comments.

Ignore me if you do not want enabling, but Methos is a recurring character, so he isn't in all that many episodes. Here's a back of the envelop "must" list for Methos:

-Chivalry: the one where he kills Kristin because someone had to.

-Timeless: the one where he falls in love with Alexa, who has cancer (she dies off-screen in between later episodes). This episode is basically about "screw immortality, let's take some risks". Skip if you like, it's mostly useful for drawing comparisons iwth the Byron ep later regarding Methos's Type when it comes to mortal women.

-'Til Death, if you want some light-hearted fare after that one. This is the farce comedy one, where Methos has to pretend to be challenging a guy so he and his wife can get back together. Skip if you like.

-The Messenger: for the scene where Methos snarks with and about The Messenger. Go ahead and skip the rest of the episode, which is about Richie.

-Comes a Horseman/Revelations 6:8: The horsemen eps. I know these eps basically off by heart. ♥ This and the Byron one (and, oops, Indiscretions as well) are the Methos backstory episodes.

-Modern Prometheus: the Byron ep, the one where Byron tempts Methos so much.

-Indiscretions: the Methos and Joe show. A good example of the difference between what Methos says and what he does.

EDIT: And here's the full list of his appearances. All Highlander eps used to be on Hulu, but I haven't checked recently if they're still there.

Must stop editing. Anyway, forgot to list the ones where *Methos* has a BSOD about Joe. That's the Galati episodes Judgement Day/One Minute to Midnight.

Oh, and here's the site with all of Methos's dialogue transcribed. And now I'll stop editing. ;)

Haha, oh god, I'll keep this in mind in case I suddenly decide I can write it.
