Not titling this with song lyrics; you're welcome.

According to my ~highly scientific~ poll in my last post, approx. 30-40% of all Dreamwidth users have had songs from Les Miserables stuck in their heads ever since the movie came out.

I don't suppose those of you who are getting more active in the fandom would consider, as a kindness, "earworm warnings" for any quotes from the lyrics (including song titles)?

//just kidding

//mostly

//although it would be nice to be able to go more than 24 hours without hearing the people sing in the background of all I do. I've kind of forgotten what that's like.

Although I have gotten quite a lot of cleaning done while unable to concentrate on anything but listening to the soundtrack on repeat, so there's that.

(I tried putting on "Once More With Feeling" instead today; it only took about half an hour before One More Day was back.

I haven't tried Cabaret yet; that's the nuclear option.)

ETA: Warning: lyrics in comments.

I really, really want more Temeraire crossovers. There's one little tiny story whose awesomeness taunts me with the glorious epic potential of Frenchboys + dragons.

I do not want to write these crossovers.

Actually, I think some of the Inca dragons in Crucible of Gold do...although I am so underwhelmed with Crucible that I stopped reading a few pages from the end back in December and still haven't finished it.

I started giving up on Temeraire around Victory of Eagles, I think. I'm just about done unless the characters I care about actually start appearing in the books again.

I'm just REALLY CURIOUS how the alternate Napoleonic Wars of Temeraire would affect the events of Les Miserables in Temeraireverse....

I think dragons are much more beautiful (except that pterodactyls are pretty attractive...)

It is not my idea, but here are

Claws of Justice (a story) and Javert and his dragon (an art), by the people who did come up with it.

I just want MORE. BECAUSE DRAGONS.

I imagine that secretly the dragon wishes sometimes they could read trashy adventure novels like the others do, BUT she is very proud of her Capitaine Javert, and of course she would never want to disappoint him with lowbrow tastes, and she DOES want to improve herself, of course another legal treatise would be fascinating....
