On fandoms I am not in.
Watched Thor today!
Some minor notes:
Thor, darling, if you don't want Laufey to call you "princess", maybe you should rethink those incredibly girly shoulder brooches. (And if they are, as your dad implied, a badge of office, maybe he's the one you should bring the "princess" issue up with.) Just a thought.
Loki, meanwhile, kept looking/sounding like he was some sort of bizarre love-child of Q and Data. (You're welcome for that image.) Although the 'Loki is Odin and Laufey's kid' theory still works quite well. (Also am I the only one who suspects Laufey is not really dead? Mind you this is comics fandom so there's no such thing as "really dead" anyway.)
Also that fight on the Rainbow Bridge was possibly the gayest climactic battle I've seen since the one in "Last of the Time Lords". GOOD ONE, Loki. Is there fic yet where Loki decides Thor is immovably heterosexual and takes girl form in order to lure him away from Jane? Because you could practically see those thoughts forming in his head.
And yay cosmic cube! Remember when I watched Iron Man II and the main thing I was excited about was the tesseracts in Howard's notes? CALLED IT.
And finally, NEEDS MOAR DON BLAKE. Is there fanfic with him? Possibly in which Jane's ex wanders in to some Avengers/Shield operation and randomly picks up Mjollnir and then can't figure out why everyone's staring at him?

In other news: Internets! Where is the Suits fanfic that discusses Donna's regeneration history?
Because I have been reading Suits fic, on-and-off, and I have just now realized that for some strange reason Donna is no longer played by Catherine Tate. It is a good thing that we now have canon that humans who get mixed up with timelordiness can regenerate, or I wouldn't know what to think.
(Still waiting for that Suits wingfic with Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law, too. Still haven't watched any of the show.)
ps: Snow tonight? Really? That's ... new.

LOLOL.
Otoh, maybe Thor just likes feeling pretty? And no one has the nerve to talk about him about it?

I suspect you are right and nobody but Laufey has ever had the nerve to point it out. :P Maybe Odin gave them to him and he's just sensitive about it? On the other hand this does make the whole thing with Freya's necklace make more sense.
(Doylistically, I am just amused that in an attempt to make the comics costume less stupid-looking, they went with... turtle brooches.)
