WHAT I SPENT TODAY DOING.

The Doctor would like Horton the Elephant to join him in adventures. Horton is unsure of the practicalities of the matter.

Well, "art" was on my to-do list. And a certain word's top Google result has recently changed, you know you were thinking it too. Just don't ask how many Highlander episode it took. (Also you can click to get the 1250x800 original size.)

Now to do the stuff that *actually* needs doing.

(Is it just me, or was Tek Jansen last night not really very good? But the interview, for once, *is* really good.)

Horton is *so* not a Republican! Don't listen to those nasty activist people. Horton is a staunch supporter of mpreg nontraditional families. :P

...Okay, maybe he's a *good* Republican. *g*(Sorry, the movie-related news stories have got me upset.)

*blink* Took me a bit to figure out what the heck you're talking about. Hadn't seen the news stories, never read Horton Hears a Who, just thought "aw, cute ellyphant!"

(He's a good Republican. He's probably got a RINO horn, but it's invisible. *am thinking of actually buying or making rhinocerous earrings in case I ever go to another Republican event* :)

What? ...You've never read the Horton books? How is this possible??

That's okay, I'd never heard of RINOs either. (Horton is totally a RINO. If there's one thing that defines Horton the Elephant, it's "obstinately loyal even when the people he's being loyal to are blatantly screwing him over.")

I didn't even know they were multiple books. I had Suess books when I was a kid, but I don't remember having those. "Red Fish Blue Fish" was my favorite, I think.

Yeah, RINO is definitely an in-house insult. So is "squish". (That means someone who has liberal positions. I'm "good on taxes and defense, but squishy on social issues".) I'm sure the Dems have some too, but I don't know what they are. I've got a "beware charging RINO" icon on LJ, but the funny thing is, the Theocons are the real RINOs, not me-- there's nothing in either the state or national GOP creed that backs up this hateful bullshit. *hugs Horton*
