Well, so far I've actually kept more-or-less to my list. Kind of. I did do a day hike on Saturday, but it turned out to be the W&OD trail instead of the C&O; I had forgotten that parking at the ferry is horribly annoying and expensive, and the W&OD is walking distance from the apartment, so I chickened out. (Did I mention that I hate cars?) Fun day. I will write it up eventually, but among the things I forgot to bring were any way to transfer pictures off of my camera. So that'll wait.
Sunday I mostly just lay around and caught up on Internet and did homework.
Since then, the commute has been *killing* me. Monday and Tuesday are my bad days, so hopefully I'll have some actual energy again starting tomorrow, but it took me *two hours* this afternoon to drive the 30 highway miles from the train station to the apartment, and the traffic wasn't even all that bad - there was just a lot of it. Did I mention I hate cars?
Friday around 5:00 I pick up sister at the airport. Friday starting at 10:00 AM there's a big biennial used book sale at the local library right down the road from the airport. Want to bet on whether there's any room left in the car for her luggage? I already bought six books since I've been here ...
And this cat is so needy about attention, and requires huggles and purrs every ten minutes or she starts her banshee impression. I keep telling her if she keeps acting this lonely, Katy really will get her a sibling cat to play with, and then she'll *really* be sorry. I don't think she's listening.

That's all well and good, but how do you feel about cars?
