Do you ever have a day when you get the feeling that the universe is trying to do you a favor?

While driving around university today, trying to find parking, I managed to drive over something sharp and pointy (and yes, ma, I was driving carefully) and shred one of the tires. (There, now I told you and I don't have to use the evil cell phone.) Also, the tire iron somebody stuck in with the spare? *completely* useless, just so you know. Anyway, I didn't want to keep driving in circles on the rim till I found a parking garage that was actually open, so I pulled in a reserved space to put the spare on, and being on time for my appointment? not so much. bah.

Uh. Are you still at school? Mom says you should call AAA, and if you don't, to make absolutely sure the lugnuts are on tight.

(you probably should have called anyway, because I was in Annapolis for an hour, and by the time I got back and got around to checking lj it was 2 hours after you'd posted this, so.)
