Downsides include: randomly lost about 100 words' progress on Memrise, switched to new onscreen keyboard which annoys me, forgot how many @#%@$ notifications I had to turn off (keep discovering more). Upsides include: phone will now remember wifi passwords for more than two hours at a stretch, did not lose 2048 progress, can now play pokemon go again! (this may also be related to me getting nothing done this weekend.)

-- Today I bought a bright red nineties-vintage trench coat for $1, so that's my Halloween/cosplay taken care of for 2018.

-- There was something on pillowfort.io a few days ago about your "favorite" tags on AO3, and I hadn't even known that functionality existed, so now I am taking all the fandoms etc. that I sometimes randomly put in the AO3 search box when I need something to read and can't manage to use tag search like a real person, and listing them as "favorites". As part of that effort, here is a list of what comes up as a suggestion in my browser in the AO3 search box for every letter of the alphabet (not counting titles of specific fic). Maybe I should make them my new dw interests. :P
