I am commuting to the con, so I'll be getting there tomorrow morning, and then probably mostly hanging around the panel rooms.

I will be cosplaying as The Signless Sufferer (the one in the gray cloak) on Friday, and hopefully Madelyn Mack on Sunay for the Holmes panel. Saturday I will probably just wear a t-shirt, but you'll be able to recognize me anyway, because all weekend I will be wearing a badge tag of the Hulk from the Avengers Ass-Emble fanart. Because I was helping Kevin and Sarah with studio stuff, and the badge was there, and there was a suggestion made, and I couldn't come up with a good enough reason why not.

Speaking of that image, they gave me a signed framed print of it for the art show, so that will be up for auction! I know you all want a framed print of all the Avengers in tits-and-ass pose. I also made a QUILTBAG, which will be in the art show, and just finished doing up a Cordelia Vorkosigan Flimsy Dolls kit (printed on flimsys, of course, though it also comes with paper copies for a bit of Barrayaran local color.) I haven't made up my mind about the TARDIS yet, I'll see what else is there.

I'm co-modding the Sherlock vs. Sherlock panel (which will be about many Sherlocks other than the BBC one) and the Speculative Erotica one, and also the two Sit Down and Write sessions, and as usual I am way behind on prep for those and have probably really annoyed my co-mods at this point, *sigh*.

I also have a box of stuff for the swap table, in the perpetual hope that I will drop off substantially more stuff than I take home. The coolest thing I am donating is a Hawaii 5-O tie-in novel.

..yes, Hawaii 5-O, not 5-0. It was published by Whitman in I think the early seventies; I read it myself, and it was kind of a trip, because, okay, I have never seen a single episode of either series, but I have read a lot of the fanfic, and Steve and Danny in this book could have been Steve and Danny from reboot fanfic. (The key characterization seems to be that Steve grimaces and Danny smiles wryly, by the way.) Okay, a gen version of them, which I have never actually seen in the new show fanfic, I'm not sure it's possible tbh, but definitely them. Also less violent and more respectful of due process, but, like, I had no trouble pretending it was 5-0 fic.

Then Kono would show up and I would get whiplash.
