Well, that was a relaxing day. Slept all afternoon, then looked for the xf dvds which I appear to have lost, then for lack of any better idea watched tv with Mom . . . finished another strip of patchwork . . . we watched Joan of Arcadia, which Pop-pop likes. Judging by the commercials, it's aimed at old people, too. *Creepy* show. Main character is being stalked by this guy who forces her to do stuff she doesn't want to; he's apparently trying to vicariously live a stereotypical teenager's life through her. Watch out, Joan. Read up on what happened to the others.

Also, they played strip Scrabble, so Mom challenged me to a game and I beat her twice. She doesn't try hard enough for points. I got to use words like 'vetch' and 'neuron' although I didn't manage anything too spectacular.

Also, how come on tv whenever a kid's parents are away they end up having a rowdy party without permission? I've never heard of that happening in real life.

Mom's going to a church ladies' retreat all day tomorrow. No, stellar_dust, I'm not going along. I haven't turned yet. Should get to bed early (=before 5) so I can take advantage of the empty house . . .
