ee! Why did nobody tell me that Windows XP comes with a text narrator? I've been letting it read me all my unfinished stories while I pack to go home tomorrow. (There are at least two HP ones that only need something resembling a sex scene in order to be finished. I should probably do something about that.) It amuses me that my own stories remind me of my Pinkwater books-on-tape when Microsoft Sam reads them, while other people's stories really don't. I wonder if Pinkwater had more of an influence on my style and themes than even I knew.

It's not nearly as fun or versatile as the one on Macs, but I'm enjoying myself.
