spork

Firefox is being very arg. First it stopped accepting UMD wireless's security certificates, then it crashed twice, the first time wiping all the history data, the second time destroying a long entry I was about to post. Bleah.

Also I got something in my eye while out in my hammock this afternoon, and I've tried everything I can think of to get it out, and it won't, so I currently have it bound with cotton wool and an ace bandage so I can type two-handed without a tiny bit of sandpaper scraping over my eye every time I blink. Did you know it's possible for a human to pop their eye out of the socket, let it dangle by the optic nerve, and pop it back in, without doing any immediate damage? Circus geeks used to do it as one of their tricks.

I think I need a nap.

Mom says: Go to the health center! Don't fool around with your eyes!

THAT three. Don't you dare fool around with your eyes - eye problems are no fun whatsoever, so get someone who knows what they're doing to sort it out.

I shudder at the thought of popping an eye out. Eegh.

As far as Firefox, have you upgraded recently? In the upper right corner of the browser window, do you see a little red round button? If it's there, then there's an upgrade available. Stopped the few problems I had when I did it.

I write my entries in Notepad, so I never lose them! It's an addictive little program.

For the eye bit, it may just be a sty. It'll feel like a rather large piece of sand, and (although I don't recomment doing this) flipping out the eyelid where you feel it will reveal a small bump. The best cure I've heard is to simply keep your eye squinted for 20-30 minutes, and let the tears work their magic.
