My need-to-write seems to go in cycles. Right now it's in an upswing. This is not necessarily a good thing: I seem to be working on Phoebe Green/Sirius Black and Conner Kent/Connor Riley stories which have been sitting barely-started in a file....
Also, Opera is still better than Firefox. And XMMS is still better than Winamp. And Linux is still better than Windows. Does anybody know where I can find a no-frills Windows application that's the equivalent of the Unix command wc? (Word count. Not water closet.) I'd just program the darn thing myself, except I don't currently have access to a C compiler I know how to use.
