(This is the first entry in my diary of Mrs. Webber's class, third grade, Ridgeway Elementary School. They continue until June, 1992. Some of the entries were pretty obviously written as exercises; they're included here only if they have some amusement value, along with every entry with personal content. My editorial comments are in blue; Miss Webber's are in red. We also learned cursive writing that year; italics signify cursive.)
I like 3rd grade alot, mostly because it's so different. For instance , it's my first year on the third floor. Another difference is we learn to play recorders in music. I also like third grade because we get a lunch shift to ourselves. I like third grade a lot more than 1st or 2nd grade!
