I woke up at eight this morning, on four hours' sleep, without my alarm, and felt awake and alive. I turned my mp3's on and started singing along like freakin' Snow White. I have no idea what brought this on (perhaps the three squares of ultra-dark chocolate I had for breakfast? Except normally I wouldn't have even had enough energy to eat) but I want it to happen more often.

Let's see. Since my last real-life update, I have attended a Peace Corps recruitment session that got me very psyched about doing that again; sworn never again to sleep in class; paid my tuition; gone to see "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" at Goddard with mom and reclusivewaffle and old friends of the family, and learned the joy of conversing with other people who compulsively quote Tom Lehrer at odd moments; read all mom's old Peanuts collections and started working on an oldskool!snoopy mood theme; done a load of laundry and cleaned my room and imposed discipline on my Pile of Papers; realized I'm out of good Highlander fic to read; realized my disinclination to step on the orange cobbles on Hornbake Mall is approaching a pathology; and actually done homework.

I need to friend some all-spanish ljs to practice reading, I think. Any recommendations?

I'm also seriously considering going to see what aikido club is like this evening. Somebody talk me into it.

Yeah.. the slashing part is really only a few frames, and you can't actually see her face. I could send you all 49 individual frames if you want :-P
