Hot again. grr.

Last few entries have been far too intelligent & stuff. No more!

Just caught up on a bunch of e-mails I should have done ages ago. Amazing how good that feels. Even *did homework*! I knew NaNoWriMo would be good for me.

E2 is down for the forseeable future. Am shocked how much this handicaps me. I'm used to being able to look stuff up there and get solid answers. Half-a-dozen times tonight I've wanted to, and haven't even been doing anything research-intensive.

Computer desktop has suddenly become Sam with a sword. There are not nearly enough Sam fangirls about. Saaaaam! *Loves the fearsome elven warrior*

. . . Am becoming too much with the Tolkien love lately. Must stop myself. Rosie/Sam/Frodo! Han/Leia/Luke! Harry/Ron/Hermione! Jack/Elizabeth/Will! Famine/Pollution/War! Dave/Margaret/Mike! Roxim/Tokoz/Oraun!

Oops. Did I say that last one out loud?

Maybe when E2 comes back up, it will move slightly more quickly, and I will play with it some more.

Got a link to a news story of any sort about its downtime?

Speaking of Dave/Margaret/Mike .. I am *very* curious to see this nice!Mike storyline get resolved ..

(yay sam!)

Yesterday evening there was a Word Galaxy up saying they were moving the servers and tweaking the code while they were at it and they'd be down 2-3 days + however long it took the dns to update. Assuming that was up to date. That's all I know.

Yep, they took it down yesterday. Assuming all goes well (it never does), it should be back up this weekend.

It seems to have been somewhat faster recently..

Ah, E2. What a fabulous way to waste time. It's quickly become my first line of reference on just about everything, although it has many omissions and contains much that is apocryphal, or at least wildly inaccurate ;-)

I get distracted by the Cool User Picks much too often. But I have not yet written a node, or even created an account. Some day, I keep saying.
