They want the hand of Omega!
So at noon today I was startled by Mom banging on the door. She had apparently e-mailed me twice saying she was coming to pick me up (which I didn't get), and had been calling up with no reply for twenty minutes. So I am now under orders to get my phone working soonest. bleargh.
On the other hand, once I got home I was delivered with my first disgustingly large scholarship check. And two framed HP:SS movie preview posters which they'd bought that morning on the cheap. And I hauled back to school a bunch more reading material and some homemade cookies. The entire living room was full of old records that Mary-from-quilting had given Mom to give to my uncle who collects them, so I spent an hour looking through them. The most interesting ones were the set of "Music to Strip By" lps. Yeah, I can see Mary doing that. :) Also, I promised Mom I'd go to church tomorrow and see what it's like. So that was fun.
I am now going to have to a) deposit 900 dollars in my checking account, and b) set up an amazon.com account so I can buy my beekeeping text. I fear that once the amazon account is up, the 900 dollars will disappear quickly. Now for a test of my willpower . . .
Have added bunches of people to my flist. *hands out complimentary strawberry malteds to

squidlysquishy feelings.I haven't been writing them much lately, because the challenges have been too vague to inspire me greatly, and the sheer numbers are intimidating.
Plus, I scared myself when I compiled them all for my website and realized I'd somehow written more than forty. XP
