I got my scholarship back! I can now make plans for the future again. hmmm.

I have now made a public flist filter named mom for the benefit of Mom, because I keep mentioning things from people's ljs to her, and she can't seem to remember three simple urls. So I am bookmarking the filter page for her, assuming she can remember how to use bookmarks. So if you are on said filter and want off, or the other way around, speak now or hold your peace. (It is all real-life people whom she knows).

I am alive, although when the humidity gets to around 99% I sometimes begin to doubt this.
Now, back to not-getting-ready for school.

mm, mooching off the state. alas, my scholarship days are over and now i must mooch off of the NSF..

it took me a while to find beekeeping (it should be BEES101, but it is actually BSCI121, formerly ENTM111 (ENTM now appears to only have graduate courses)), but I did find "Current Topics in Animal Science: Biosecurity for Poultry" (ANSC489P).. heee! it doesn't sound like you get attacked by actual bees? i'm rather cnidophobic, so this is probably good (have some sympathetic cnidophobia.) (BEES is actually a graduate program in Behavior, Ecology, Evolution and Systematics and has only an introductory seminar and thesis research)

What's your new picture of? It looks like *something* sitting on a twig in winter, but if it's a bird, or a bug, or an overgrown hunk of woody material, or a nest or cone of some sort, I have no idea.
