And behold, lo, she hath noded. And thus did all the angels and demons of hell learn that their ice skates needed sharpening.
So my class started Monday, an ultracondensed three-week class with three and a half hours a day of class, and I am having a weird experience. I am being a good student! I'm getting to class early, keeping up on the readings, getting ahead on the paper, *taking notes*, asking intelligent questions . . . No, I have no explanation for this either. But it's keeping me rather busy. And the rest of the time I've been cleaning my room. Have barely gotten started on the new bag of Sandman Aaron loaned me when he visited Sunday.
Dad pulled out an old Molly Ivins book from the Reagan era to take to the doctor's yesterday, which I promptly stole and devoured. I think I may be in love.
Also, the NPR commentator on the way to school this morning informed me that Enron financial reports were written in Gobbledegook. And in class the professor showed us a slide of a poster from the 1980's gay activist movement that said, in big white letters, "Be Enraged." I feel this explains a lot.
