the art of cat-hoovering

I've decided to pull an all-nighter, as nothing I need to be awake for is ocurring tomorrow, and get caught up on all the stuff I should have been doing all this semester. We'll see if it happens.

Meanwhile, I'm in the wired, procrastinating-for-the-heck-of-it state in which I do stuff I'd never think to do otherwise. Hence,

Wallet – Brown, trifold, with manymany pockets. Bought at Bargain Bill's in Delaware by Mom for cheap.
Hairbrush – Brush? What brush? (I have several cheap plastic combs I alternate between using and losing. I believe they're all blue at the moment.)
Toothbrush – Clear, with sparkles.
Jewelry worn daily – CMST "Math Is My Life" lanyard with keys and pocketwatch, plastic one-ring-on-a-chain when I need good luck or just feel like it.
Pillow cover – Harry Potter Quidditch, from a sheet set bought at Ollie's Bargain Outlet, Hermione side up.
Blanket – Harry Potter Quidditch, bought several years before the sheets at Ollie's.
Coffee cup – Harry Potter Potions mug. Sensing a theme here? For tea and cocoa, not coffee.
Sunglasses – I don't believe in sunglasses.
Underwear - white cotton low-cut briefs, as of this morning lined with GladRags. Definitely more than you wanted to know, yes?
Shoes – Route 66 blue leather ankle boots, with one white, one black shoelace.
Bag – Very worn black and brown canvas totebag, bought at Goodwill, decorated with butterflies and the phrase "I can't live without my books." Soo true. Contains calculator, notebook, "A Rat's Tale", "The Constraints of Desire", colored pencils, sketchbook, and quilting supplies.
Favorite shirt – Probably "May the Forest Be With You" t-shirt bought at Furnacetown last summer. Or homemade large muslin peasant blouse.
Cologne/Perfume – Mammals communicate to a very large extent by scent, and by declaring such communication taboo and seeking to prevent it we as a species are handicapping ourselves. (that is, no.)
CD in stereo right now – Scott Joplin tribute, probably bought dirt cheap at Odd Lots by Dad.
Tattoos - I've always felt that tattoos are only justified when they're earned and have a larger societal meaning. And I haven't earned any. (Have a few minor scars though. Should see about getting some more.)
Piercings – Nope. Bad for the magic.
What you are wearing now – Hello Dolly t-shirt from crew two years ago, tattered white knit pajama pants with large jewel-toned stars print, homemade gray chlamys (small wrap-cloak)
Hair – Hasn't been cut or had goop other than shampoo put on it for years and years. Currently an changes-with-the-light brown, wavy from being kept braided, just over waist-length. Actually combed it this evening; drawn up doubled in a plain hair elastic.
Makeup - None. Ever. Ick.

WHO or WHAT (was/is/are)
In my head – The e-mails I need to send, labs I need to finish, stories I need to crit, stories I need to write, scheduling, and how to avoid doing any of that.
Wishing – I would just get it all *done*. blerg.
After this – Do some more crits, as my wrist is no longer sore. Drink an orange soda.
If you could get away with it and murder anyone - A no-one. That is, some warm human body with reflexes but no mind, emotions, or soul, so I could get the fun of feeling them die under my hands, the warm blood running over my skin, without the guilt.
Person you wish you could see right now – My geomorph teacher, to ask about these labs.
Is next to you – Does sleeping roommate across the room count?
Some of your favorite movies – I don't really watch enough to have favorites. LOTR1, HP2, ST4, SW6. Nosferatu. MASH.
Something you're looking forward to in the upcoming month – spring.
The last thing you ate - Cheez-its dipped in chocolate icing.
Something that you are deathly afraid of - Plants with creepers. Just had another nightmare about that, too. Blind, white tendrils rooting themselves in my skin as I stand paralyzed, my juices slowly being sucked out as the plant overgrows me with green leaves . .
Do you like candles - Oh yes. Too bad I can't burn them in the dorm or this would be being lit by them. At home often go all-candles.
Do you like hot wax – Taking this literally - yes, it's very fun to play with, and make things out of, and not hot enough to burn very much.
Do you like incense - Never tried it much, but I doubt I would.
Do you like the taste of blood – Never tried anyone's but mine. Quite like mine, actually. Don't bleed nearly enough.
Do you believe in love - Yes
Do you believe in soul mates - Yes
Do you believe in love at first sight – Sort of. Most of the time people don't realize that's what it is. And it can be wrong. But I guess it happens.
Do you believe in Heaven – Depends on what you mean by Heaven. I believe I'll like where I go after I die, yes. And I'll see God there, or be God there, or some combination thereof.
Do you believe in forgiveness - Yes.
What do you want done with your body when you die – Burned, eaten, or donated to science.
Who is your worst enemy - Myself
If you could have any animal for a pet, what would it be – *Pet* is a degrading word. If I could have an animal friend, probably cat. Though right now I want a rat or a squirrel.
What is the latest you've ever stayed up – No more than about 50 hours.
Can you eat with chopsticks - Yes. Prefer them to western stuff. Carry my own set around. But only Japanese style; I suck with the pointy ones.
What are 5 cities you wouldn't mind relocating to – Gah. Dublin, SF, Baltimore, Boston, Savannah, just off the top of my head. Many others too though.
What are some of your favorite pig out foods – Cheese pringles, dark chocolate, cheddar cheese, vanilla coke, strawberries.
What's something that you wish people would understand – One doesn't need to be constantly around other people in order to be happy.
What's something you wish you could understand better – Myself
Anyone you miss that you haven't seen in a long time – Been thinking about my friends from middle school lately, actually. If Theresa or Danny who went to OMMSS find this, e-mail me. *grin* & I need to e-mail Brianne like I've been saying I would for the past year & meet Stacy.
