Which are *such* a *thing* with me about the Harry/Ginny ship - I'm not even anti-H/G, but the power levels in that relationship are so screwed up, and Harry doesn't even seem to realize how screwed up they are - and Ginny does seem to. And the life-debt thing is a conveniently vaguely canon-based way to pull it in and make it literal...
