Hmm, I understand what you're saying, I think. Are you concerned that if you upload a work that you are unsure of, it will be challenged (by whoever, grumpy self-selected fandom police person?) and you will find yourself in a distressing conflict situation?

My ideal is a solution that doesn't require significant policing, that doesn't open the field up to nitpicking challenges and complaints, and isn't a bucket load of work for the poor nuffers who are assigned the complaints.

I want more inclusive, less rule-bound. Erring on the side of belonging makes me a happier fan, too.
