Sorry, I should have said: the code can be automatically generated etc. It is a setting that is configured on http://www.dreamwidth.org/manage/settings/?cat=othersites and obviously it only applies if you are using the DW crosspost function, rather than using e.g. Semagic (although I dunno, there might be a way to do this in Semagic - I haven't used it in a while).
