I figured it was people just linking to the version of the post they saw first, and not some eeevil DW conspiracy. Really, all of us who post on both paltforms ought to crosslink, but I'm still trying to figure out how to make that little "this post has blahblah comments on LJ/DW" bit of code work on my journal layout.

It's too much effort to figure out if someone also has an lj, and go find that post, if there is no explicit crosslink

*nods* Which I suspect is one reason some DW crossposts get ignored while lj posts get comments -- the poster often has no crossposting links.
