That's *very* interesting; I knew that some of the estrogen brigades were more slash-focused than others, I'd been assuming DMEB was one of them. I suppose it's possible that the poll separated people out by what kind of fic they were fans of - though even then it would be a pretty self-selected group of slashers who tolerate large amounts of Mary-sue.

I'm hoping to get more info about those polls; it'll be interesting to see whether the heterosexuality citation in wikipedia was actually based on any slash polls at all.
