1. I've been trying to come up with how to describe Perilous Gard to you since you posted this, and it's hard! Especially without spoiling stuff it would be nice to come to fresh. But if you liked Perilous Gard, I think you'd like it! The best I have come up with is that if you ever read and loved Prydain, Riddle-Master always felt to me like Prydain if it had grown up a bit. Not in the sense of extra sex//violence/grimdark, but it has a lot of the same images and aesthetics and concerns and that same feel of language that's a little bit poetic and a little bit dreamy but not less real for all that. But it feels deeper and broader than Prydain and the questions it poses are less likely to have answers.
