You're right, thinking further BNHA is a fandom where Gen also does very, very well, surprisingly (to me!!). The top fic at wow 78k kudos nowadays is all platonic ships. For my fav shippy BNF authors too, I was surprised to see their gen fics doing as well or even better than their shipfics, as that hasn't been my experience in fandom in general. Intriguing and cool!
