ohhhhh I knew that hp was still popular among the young'uns today, but I didn't think about what a huge effect there would be from people encountering the series as a closed canon! I....I guess I CAN see where interest in Tom and Regulus would come from, but gosh. I came into the fandom in the Long Summer between book 4 and book 5, and so in my head anything from book 5 on is just kind of optional, lol.

kdj/yjh are from Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint! I'm part of a little book club reading through the webtoon version of it, since the webnovel version is uhhhhh a monster in length. (the webtoon is also not SHORT.) It's about a guy who's obsessed with a terrible webnovel and then finds the events of the webnovel coming true, and has to use his knowledge of the book to survive the apocalypse! Kim Dokja is the obsessed reader, and Yu Jungheok (spelling is variable depending on transliteration) is the protagonist of the terrible webnovel! It is EXTREMELY meta on many levels and keeps on going deeper, and it's a delight. Also lots of excellent female characters! And weird aliens! And a kid who can speak to bugs! I think you would like it.
