Yeah, Whedon is not the champion of feminism you would have expected the creator of Buffy to be, sadly. I don't know any gossip about the making of his version of "Much Ado," however. That doesn't mean there wasn't any though. It just had a bunch of actors in it that I like so I made sure to see it.
