This is fascinating!

I had three #14s in my AO3 bookmarks and the fics were deleted when I wasn't watching :(

[archiveofourown.org profile] ivyblossom's Helpless is a detailed Sherlock/John fic, where Sherlock gets thyroid cancer. It's based on [twitter.com profile] ivyblos personal experience, and does an excellent job of realism and the kind of comfort every relationship needs.
