My definition of being or having been "in" a fandom seems to be very narrow. Things I squee about include slash/transformative fandom in general, a narrow subsection of DC comics (plus a larger subset of the DCAU), Discworld, Dorothy Sayers, Good Omens, JRR Tolkien, Leverage, a subset of MCU, a subset of Marvel comics, Sherlock Holmes, Star Trek TOS, a subset of the Star Wars OT-era Expanded Universe (now called Legends), Star Wars: The Force Awakens, SG-1, SGA, and Ursula Vernon. If one includes things I have strong feelings or opinions about, one can add Doctor Who, Dresden Files, Highlander, Imperial Radch, and comics fandom in general. But I only consider myself to have been at some point *in* the fandoms for SG-1, Doctor Who, Man from UNCLE (TV-verse), and currently the Star Wars Legends: X-Wing books. And possibly Ursula Vernon. And Yuletide, if that's a fandom.

So I'm not really sure what to tickybox, especially if it is being a friending meme and I don't really talk about most of these on the regular. ;P
