One of the things I love about UBC is that they literally did a whole Paper on how psychology is frequently mislead because they're basically only studying the people who make it to undergraduate courses at universities.
(There are still a bunch of those kinds of studies that happen all around the university but I gather at this point there is also a solid awareness of "we're using this to teach you How To Do The Study, you should not kid yourself that this is actually a Significantly Meaningful Result based on THIS population.")
